Our founder Jason Gittinger chairs the Royal Oak Commission for the Arts at Royal Oak City Hall. He has been a part of writing public policies for the arts and has chaired the committee that throws the city’s annual downtown summer concert series.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland & Macomb Counties approached our founder Jason Gittinger, due to his extensive history with music related businesses, to help with a project at one of their locations. The task was to help develop a process and team to utilize their music recording space for the betterment of the students that attended their club. Jason and his team developed a plan and put a staff and customized curriculum in place to help the students and team at the club.
Our founder Jason Gittinger is the President of the Board of Directors of the Greater Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce. As such, he serves on all of the committees of the board; communications, executive, finance, membership services, nominating, scholarships, and special events. As president, he is also responsible for leadership of the office staff between board meetings as well as representing the organization at community events and meetings. Frequently he is asked to speak at grand openings and his staff and students of the music school he founded, The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music were selected as the “volunteers of the year” in 2010.

Our founder Jason Gittinger chairs the Royal Oak Commission for the Arts at Royal Oak City Hall. As a leader in the arts in the area, he was asked to serve as a member of the Community Relations Board at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The board serves to communicate and develop strategies for engaging the Detroit Institute of Arts with the citizens and taxpayers of the tri-county Metro Detroit Region and beyond.
Founders Jason and Sherry Gittinger have done a lot of things to help the congregation of Kensington Church over the years. From playing drums and singing, to hosting rehearsals or sourcing musicians and resources for the team, they have a tremendous heart for giving back to the people in the community.
